I told Mommy that Thomas was my favorite part of the parade.
Afternoon Play and Ice Cream

We ran into Anna, Sophie, Tia and Grandma Rodriguez at the parade. So we had a pizza lunch , then played in GR's backyard and had frozen custard at Woody's.

Tackling my cupcake.

I think Emerson is not going to share her cupcake with Thomas.

Do you think TJ and his Mommy want some cake with their frosting?

Pinata time!

Didn't want to show off my manly strength to the others.

TJ's turn to swing.

That's me and Cousin It...I mean the Mommy.

Emerson opening our presents...we got her a Hello Kitty bubble machine and some movies.
Downpour

It stopped raining after Sydney's birthday party so we got the chance to enjoy some water fun at Downpour. We had a blast and can't wait to go again.

Afternoon Fun

She gets upset when she goes through a puddle of water.

Got to protect that big messy head.
My 1st Trip to the Dentist

Today Mommy took me to the dentist for a check up. It was my first time seeing a dentist and I was a little nervous. But I was a trooper and made Mommy really proud for being such a good big boy.

Waiting to get my teeth cleaned.

I was excited to get the bib.

Still smiling...

At one point I told the dental hygienist who was trigger happy with the water spray, "That's enough."

Floss time.

I loved my visit...I got pearly whites, a sticker, goody bag and a starfish for my tub. Can't wait for my next check up in 6 months!
Special Delivery

A package came in the mail on Tuesday and it was addressed to me.

I wonder who sent it to me?

Emerson helping me out. The package at the bottom was the Daddy...he ordered air filters.

Read a birthday card from Anna and Sophie.

They gave me books! I love to read. Thank you so much Anna and Sophie!
Check Ups

Last Friday I had my 3 year check up and Emerson had her 18 month check up. Since I'm the oldest, I'll give you my stats first. I'm 37 inches tall (90%) and weigh 34 lbs (75%). The nurse didn't measure my head but I'm pretty sure I have a big head. My little sister is 32 1/2 inches tall (50-75%) and weighs 25 lbs (50-75%). She has a big head too.

Celebrating check up day a Rio Grande.

Emerson and I also took Uncle James out for high school graduation fiesta.

Kill 3 Birds with 1 Stone

Monday was the last day of preschool, the family picnic and my turn to bring in the snack bucket for the last time. Mommy made birthday snacks since last week was my birthday and we didn't have class due to the Memorial holiday. She made mini cupcakes for my friends and teachers.

Emerson and I at our picnic table.

Happy 4th Birthday Thomas!

On Saturday Aunt Chi and Uncle John had a tailgate birthday party for our cousin Thomas. Em and I didn't have Hokie gear so we got to borrow from Thomas' collection. This was our first tailgate ever and we had so much fun. We bounced around on the moonbounce, had hot dogs, The Mommy's world famous potato salad, cake and even got to see a 17 minute video of our cousin. Happy Birthday Thomas!

Future Hokie girl?

Emerson always the ham.
